Great food! Huge portions and friendly staff. Large menu. Quick service even when busy. Ask about dessert. The selection of weekly homemade baked goods are excellent, especially the apple pie!! Lots of nearby parking on the street and parking lots. Can be very busy Friday and Saturday nights. Other weeknights not as bad. Located off side streets in a residential area where you'd not expect to find this.

First timer, very cool place to enjoy food and drinks. Great food and nice portions. I tried the Hungarian stuffed peppers, freaking yummy and spicy. My heart ordered a slice of the yellow cheese pizza to try and was in heaven. Off the beaten path in Altoona, but thank goodness we all GPS. 👍👍👍👍👍

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend and her parents. We were not disappointed at all! The food and service were amazing. Great prices for the amount of food you get. Beautiful restaurant.

Great service on a Sunday. My bartender was Gary Ray and he made me feel welcomed to the restaurant. He was able to recommend beers I would like to try. Also, when it came time to order food, he had many good items for us to choose from on menu. The food came out fast and was amazing. I recommend Jack and George’s to anyone that loves great food and spirits. Gary had taken very good care of our group. It’s a 5 star deal.

Very clean, loved food but should be open later on weekends. Also Ryan B (bartender) was not polite, rushed us out and need to work on customer relations. If wasnt for him I would give a 5 star..

Excellent food. Recommend the yellow cheese pizza slices. They are huge a wonderful. The stuffed hot peppers we're fantastic too. The metal chairs on the back porch are not comfortable and it is a bit loud. Icky and bacon burgers and Pittsburgh turkey sandwich were AWESOME!

Moved here about a year and half ago and have been there twice. Always have friendly/chill staff and always a great atmosphere. Best jalapeno poppers I've ever had, for real.

Has a bar and a large dining area. We had a group of 20 individuals in our party and everyone was satisfied with the service and food they got ... plus the price was right.

We got there 45 mins before they closed and they still allowed us to order food and a pitcher of beer! The pizza and wings were AMAZING and the girls working last night were so sweet! Will definitely be going back!

Multi room renovated full bar and restaurant. "Appetizers are homemade", the basket of fries is huge. Domestics and a few craft beers on tap and bottle. Good specials. Lots of fried fish. Service was decent during Friday lunch rush. Great blue cheese.

The wings were good, and the wife's cjef salad was different (ham and pepperoni instead of ham and turkey, and the eggs were pickled) but also good. I didn't like the fries we ordered, and the fried mushrooms weren't very good.

Food could be better. I don't see the draw. I've never had anything there that was worth going back for. The ham pot pie maybe.

Excellent food and service despite being epically busy! The serving sizes of everything we had were beyond generous. We had an early dinner (4:00 ish) and when we left there was a line waiting to be seated. I'm pretty hard to please when dining out, and I have no complaints!!

Ate here for lunch on a December Friday. Good atmosphere! Plenty of seating. Server was friendly and professional. Numerous American food selections. Cajun shrimp salad was delicious. Shrimp were a good size, flavorful and the portion was appropriate. Recommend!

May be moving here. Popped in here to sample the local flair. Looking for the "corner bar" flavor. Was not disappointed. Liza was a great bartender and the other customers made me feel extra welcome. Didn't have time to eat, but the guys raved about the food. Especially the Ham Pot Pie. Next time, and there will be a next time. 👍

Fries were handcut, but a bit over cooked. Chicken sandwich was okay. The hamburger was pretty standard. Hot sausage sandwich and J and G platter were yummy. Servers were very friendly. It had a nice pub atmosphere. We would eat here again. Make sure you are careful to which door you walk in. If you see stairs, turn back and go around the corner. Lol. Lots of doors!

A restaurant to sit down, watch sports on the multiple TVs and enjoy a beer! If you just want to drink, they have a bar with more than enough televisions with different sports on each one. The food is good and even on a busy day, you don't have to wait too long for food, ensuring your dish to be as fresh as possible.

I enjoy the clean, family atmosphere here. There is a bar area but that's not the primary purpose of this establishment. The food is always good but unless you're starving you may not be able to finish one of the large salads. With the new parking area, in addition to the old, you shouldn't have trouble finding a place to put your ride.

They burnt my kids chicken tenders but refunded my money so that was nice. My wings were pretty dry and needed way more sauce but the food had good flavor and was made in a timely manner and the customer service was great! I'd try them again
